Anna Lillie Beemer, 88, a recent resident of Chillicothe, MO formerly of Raytown, MO passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, MO.

She was born August 21, 1921 in Cairo, MO, the daughter of George and Opal (Roberts) Lingo. On July, 30, 1943 she married Junior "Don" Beemer. She was a Cairo High School graduate then attended both Moberly Junior College and Moberly Beauty School where she earned a beautician license. Later she worked for Montgomery Ward retiring after 19 years in 1968. Ann was a member of the Ivanhoe United Church of Christ, Raytown, MO where she attended evening circle. She enjoyed her trips to Branson with her husband, Don, walking, reading, spoiling her poodles, and doing crafts in her earlier years. She was also a 50 year member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her cousin, Debbie, and her husband, Paul Ficken of Chillicothe, MO and their two children, son, Spencer, and his wife Melissa, and daughter Crystal, and her husband, Travis Narr, and their children, Addie, Porter, and Ryder Ficken and Tucker and Cooper Narr, and lifelong friends Roy and Dee Holmes, Raytown, MO.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Ivanhoe United Church of Christ at 6512 Woodson and burial in Brooking Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ivanhoe United Church of Christ or North Shore Animal Shelter.
