James C. "Con" Cousins, 78, of 428 N. McKean St., died this morning in his home, after and illness.
Born in Kearns Crossing area, Butler County, June 14, 1899, he was the son of the late Elijah P. and Mary Foster Cousins.
A retired truck driver, he had been employed by Central Chemical company in North Butler.
His wife, Mabel Rigby Cousins, died Jan. 26, 1957.
Surviving are two sons, Harry E. Cousins of Butler and Robert G. in Maryland; six daughters, Mrs. Peral Monnie, Mrs. Clarence (Ruth) Geibel, both of Butler, Mrs. Barbara Scott in California, Mrs. Charles (Cecelia) Fennell in Illinois, Mrs. Joseph B. (Jessie) Cavaliero, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. David (Carol) Callihan in Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Bruce (Pearl) Frantz in Ohio; 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements, by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., are incomplete.

COUSINS – Friends of James C. "Con" Cousins of 428 N. McKean St., who died Tuesday Nov. 1, 1977, will be received at the Geibel General Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the funeral home, with the Rev. William Young Jr., pastor of Trinity United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Arrangements by Geibel.
