I have chosen to leave the memorial showing Jan 13, 1856 to reflect what is shown on the headstone. I believe the original intent of the gentleman who began Find a Grave was to record what is actually found in the cemetery. I would not be at all surprised if the date on the stone is a mistake and Torkel has provided the "more correct" date of birth. I have recorded both dates in my personal family tree information.
