He received the degrees of M.D. at Starling Medical College and Ph.D at Rose Polytechnic Institute. He has made inventions in electrical signaling and conducted various physical researches. Formerly professor at Male High School (physics), Louisville, Kentucky. Besides other works he has written many papers on scientific subjects. Unmarried.
