George A. Derr, 59 years, died February 2, 1940 at the County Home Hospital, Middlesex Township, Cumberland County, Pa., due to hypertension and chronic myocardial degeneration. He was born March 22, 1880 in Cumberland Co. the son of Mickel Derr and the former Mary Beam, natives of Penna. His wife, the former Mary Abrahams, survives him. Burial on February 6, 1940 at Prospect Hill by J. R. Shulenberger, Carlisle, Pa.
