Services for Sid Robinson, 90, of Lufkin were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles S. McIlveene and Rev. Fletcher Erwin officiating and burial in the Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Friday. March 16, evening in a local hospital.
Born in Montgomery County, he had resided in Lufkin most of his life. Mr. Robinson was a retired railroad engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad with 40 years of service.
He was a member of the Lufkin Oddfellow Lodge and the Rebekah Lodge. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors: wife, Hessie; sons, Sid, Jr. and Jack; three daughters, Polly Burden, Ruby Meyers and Christine Moegle; two sisters, Vera Agricola and Johnnie Parker; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
