Born at Elora, Wellington, Ontario, Canada, Andrew immigrated to the United States from Windsor, Canada in 1898. In about 1901, he experienced a miraculous healing from tuberculosis in Denver after praying.

In the 1930's, he and wife Jennie founded Go-Ye Fellowship in Los Angeles, a Christian missionary organization.
