Lois passed away October 19, 2006 at Cottonwood Hospital in Murray, UT due to complications of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and emphysema. Lois Maude Jeppson was born August 25, 1936 in Sunnydell, Idaho to Myron B and Maude Bee Jeppson. Married Ronald E. Morrison June 9, 1954. They had five children, and later divorced. Married Peter J. Kakunes, Sr. June 1, 1976. Lois owned and operated the Redwood Lounge more than 25 years with her husband until his death; then retired. Her family were her pride and joy. She cherished them and the memories she had of her time with each and every one of them. Longtime member of the Rose Park 9th Ward. Survived by children, R. Craig Morrison, Michael G. Morrison, Cindy L Savelkoul (Bo Dean), Steve J. Morrison (Julie), Sheri L Petersen (Kim); 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; mother; siblings, Brent Jeppson, Jay Jeppson (Elly), Myrna Comstock (Herb), Patsy Druce (Jerry), Dawna Gleason (Warren); and many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her father; ex-husband; husband; and sister-in-law, Janice Jeppson. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the many caring people, staff and doctors who have helped with Mom during her illness. A viewing will be held Monday, October 23, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. So. Temple, SLC. The funeral service is Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at 11 a.m. LDS church, 874 N Starcrest Dr (1840 W) SLC. Viewing will also be from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Mt.
