Alice married Harry Francis Mace (Aug 1866/68 - 26 Apr 1930) on 29 May 1888 in Washington, DC. In the 1900 U.S. Census, Harry says he was born in Aug 1868. However, in earlier censuses, he was born c.1867. His death certificate says he was bout 60 years old when he died.

Harry was born in Washington, DC, to William Mace (1823 - 29 Dec 1875) and Elizabeth (Breen) Mace.

According to Wikipedia, Harry was a pitcher in Major League Baseball for the 1891 Washington Statesmen. He played in the minors from 1889-1895 and managed in 1902.
