She was a native of Bulloch County but had lived in Portal most of her life. She was a member of Davenport, Fla., Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, J. Carl Rocker of Brooklet, Alvin G. Rocker of Statesboro and J. David Rucker of Davenport; three daughters, Mrs. George S. King of Moncks Corner, S.C., Mrs. John D. Childers of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Carrol B. Clark of Davenport; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin McDonald of New Ellington, S.C., and Mrs. James Torrence of Aiken, S.C., two brothers, Leon S. Scarboro of Aiken and Ernest S. Scarboro of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro with burial in East Side Cemetery.
