The native of Arizona was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed walking and was often seen in downtown Livermore. She was a regular at the Friendship Center, where she had many friends.
Survivors include sisters, Blanche McAllister of Saint George, Utah, Wynne Facer and Dixie Wood, both of Livermore, and Flo Polka of Chandler, Ariz.; and brothers, Paul Bates of Mesa, Ariz. and Dean Bates of Tracy. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1501 Hillcrest Ave., Livermore. Burial will be in Phoenix, Ariz.
