Funeral Services for John G Scott, farmer and lifelong resident who died Tuesday afternoon at his home, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the home in charge of Rev. Davidson of Warsaw. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was born near Chili on Feb. 21,1868, son of Samuel & Isabelle Sanders Scott. He moved to a farm near New Castle at the age of 14 where he remained until his death.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. L.D. Barrett of South Zanesville, and Mrs. C W Reese of Newcomerstown, two sons, Denzil & Harold Scott, both of the home and a sister, Mrs. Ella Giffen of near Mohawk. His wife died in October 1930
