Death caused by infirmities of age claimed Samuel Scott, age 90, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R H Giffen, near New Castle,Wednesday morning.
He has been an invalid for the last two years.
He was born in White Eyes Twp. on May 8, 1832. He was married Aug. 18, 1859 to Miss Isabelle Sanders. She preceded him to the grave eight years ago.
He followed the occupation of farming all of his life. He moved from White Eyes twp. to the New Castle area 40 years ago.
Survived by a son, John Scott and one daughter, Mrs. R H Giffen, both of near New Castle
