Brice will be remembered for his devotion to his wife, children and great-grandchildren. Described by all who knew him as a perfect gentleman, Brice was most beloved for his sense of humor and love of the arts, which was actually on display at family occasions through his recitation of his own verse or song. Among his many accomplishments, Brice was most proud of having graduated from Dartmouth College with an AB in English in 1934. He paid homage to his alma mater by journeying to numerous reunions in Hanover, New Hampshire. An avid tennis player earlier in life. Brice enjoyed life's simple pleasures and will be remembered for his cover-to-cover reading of the Los Angeles Times and for his daily devotion to his personal journal. He will also be remembered for his lifelong quest to become a published writer. Brice is survived by sons Stephen of Aptos, Laurie of Carson, and daughter Cheryl Greenwood of Rolling Hills Estates. He also had nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Brice will be joining his beloved wife Katie who passed away June 17, 1998.
