GEO. CHARLES MORRISON, 69, a resident of Kaysville, died Saturday night in a Salt Lake City hospital was born in Richfield, September 8, 1871, a son of William and Caroline Christine Iverson Morrison, pioneers of Richfield. He was a member of the LDS church, and for many years was a prominent Richfield businessman. In 1918, he moved to Delta and in 1920 to Salt Lake City, where he remained for five years. Since then, he had lived in Kaysville where he was a contracting plumber.
He was a veteran of the SPANISH AMERICAN War.
His first wife, Mrs. Mary Avery Morrison, died about 1915. Mrs. Jean Morrison, whom he married later, died in 1918.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence Bell Morrison of Kaysville, whom he married after the second Mrs. Morrison's death, and following sons and daughters; Mrs. Fern Warner of Dillon, Montana; Mrs Emma Fowles of Vallejo, Cal.; Mrs. Maud Stegman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. Hazel Smith of Pocatello, Idaho; Clyde Morrison of Kaysville; Mrs. Mary Wells of Pocatello, Mrs. Jean Nyberg of Salt Lake City; George Charles Morrison, Jr., and Kenneth James Morrison of Kaysville, and the following brothers and sisters; William Morrison of Los Angeles, Cal.; Lafayette Morrison of Delta; Mrs. Lula M. Barr and Mrs. Martha M. Horne, Richfield; Charles and R. Bruce Morrison and Mrs. Isabelle Cushing of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Ann Drake, Enterprise and Mrs. Etta Alkire of San Diego, Cal.
