Owen J. Hoffman, 82, of Stockwell, died of a heart attack at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the home of his brother, W. W. Hoffman, 515 North Fourth street, Lafayette. The deceased was born near Clark’s Hill and had lived at Stockwell most of his life. Two brothers, W. W. Hoffman, Lafayette; Edward H. Hoffman, Redmond, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Mollie Dennis, of Redding, Iowa, survive. The body was prepared for burial at the Milligan funeral parlors at Clark’s Hill and later removed to the home. Funeral services will be held in the Stockwell Christian church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with interment in Yorktown cemetery.
