Fannie Alabama Jane Batchelor was the first of three children (all girls) who grew to adulthood born to Lemon B. "Lem" Batchelor and Nancy Jane Edgar. Fannie's sisters were: Christina Clair "Tena" Batchelor (1867-1948) who married James A. King (1859-1901) and Nora Battle Batchelor (1871-1953) who married Frances Marion "Frank" Taylor, Jr. (1862-1910).

Fannie was named for her mother (Nancy Jane Edgar) and for her mother's younger sister (Tennessee Alabama Edgar).

Fannie was married to Samuel Baker Pincham (1856-1924) in DeWitt County, TX on 14 Nov 1883. She was 18 years old and he was 27.

Samuel Baker Pincham's parents were William B. Pincham (1823-1869) and Nancy Ann Baker (1824-1895).
