ROY R. RITCHEY
Of Blue Knob, died at 2 a.m. yesterday, Dec. 6, 1972, at his home. He was born April 15, 1891, at Blue Knob, a son of John and Sarah (Long) Ritchey, and was twice married, to Julia Burns, who died in 1918, and then to Viola Trowbridge, who died in 1959. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Esther Harpster of Altoona, C. Monroe of Falls Church, Va., Sheldon of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Norma Vucan of Sunnyvale, Calif.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five brothers and sisters, William B. of Altoona, Mrs. Esther Bachtell of Portage and Frank, Ida and Elvin of Blue Knob. Mr. Ritchey was a retired painter. Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. tomorrow.

RITCHEY--Services for Roy R. Ritchey of Blue Knob will be held in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Edward Rettew. Interment in Alto-Reste Burial Park. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of service Friday.
[Note: Roy R. Ritchey's first wife, Julia Burns, instead of in 1918, actually died on 14 Aug 1920, according to her death certificate and obituary - ed.]
