Charles "Charlie" Fay, age 92, died April 16, 2013. He was a very fine gentleman who was born in Houston, Texas on January 21, 1921.
Before working as VP of Marketing for Sterling Gasket Company, Charlie served his country as a Sgt. in the US Marine Corp. He was in Iwo Jima in a foxhole when he was severely wounded. After returning to the States he met the "LOVE" of his life, Elizabeth Bonanno and this union lasted 65 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Constance Fay and Charlie will be missed by all who knew him.
The funeral celebrating Charlie's life will take place on Friday, April 19th at 2:00pm with a visitation one hour prior to the service, all to be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Antoine Drive in Houston. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery.
