He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ida April 4, 1982; one
sister. Alma; two brothers, Philip and Norman.
He is survived by one son, Charles Hammer of Highland, Ind.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Darlington of Shamrock, Tex., and Mrs. Bertha Johnson of Courtland.
Burial was in the Norway, Kansas cemetery.
