Born at Stottville 10 June 1854. Following the death of his father Charles H and uncle Francis H., Charles and his brother Frank H. Stott incorporated the Stott Woolen Company in 1901, managing the company until their sale to the Juilliard Company. He resided in Stottville most of the time, later moving to Hudson. After the sale of the mills, he moved to New York City, where he lived until his death, which occurred 24 July 1932 after a long illness. He is buried in the Hudson City Cemetery. [Hud. Star 7/25/1932] Married in Hudson to Grace Bogardus of Hudson. Had two children, often referred to as "the redheads," Marion Friedland Stott and Catherine Oakley Stott.
