Elmer Adolph Biediger, age 90, of Dunlay passed away on April 10, 1998 in San Antonio. He was born in Dunlay on Nov 28, 1907.
Mr. Biediger was a farmer and rancher and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, St. Louis Society, Catholic Life and Quihi Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lorine Schnieder Biediger of Dunlay; dauther and son-in-law, Shelia and Norman Digges; grandchildren and their spouses, Holly and Alvin Graham, and Kirk and Jennifer Digges, all of Castroville; great-grandchildren, Brett and Lee Graham and Christian Digges; brother and sister-in-law, Erwin and "Mitzie" Biediger of Dunlay; sister, Hilda Haby of Mico.
He is preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Katherine Hutzler Biediger; brothers, Alex and Raymond Biediger; sister, Ophelia Wengenroth.
Pallbearers were Drew Neumann, Jerry B. McGill, Samuel Hardy, Robert Waust, David Haby and Dennis Wengenroth.
Rosary was at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 1998, and Mass of Resurrection was at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, with Rev. Jim Conway officiating. Both services were at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, Castroville.
