Statesboro, Ga., March 15 -

Hubert Waters, 58, Register, died Monday at Bulloch County Hospital after an illness of a few hours. He was a lifelong resident of Bulloch County, and was living in the Sinkhole community at the time of his death.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Ruby Denmark Waters; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Strickland, Savannah, Mrs. M. C. Archer, Atlanta; two sons, Reginald Waters, Nevils, Eugene Waters, Savannah; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. C. W. Howell, Macon, Mrs. W. S. DeLoach, Mrs. R. C. DeLoach, Savannah; a brother, T. J. Waters, Brooklet.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church by Rev. A. L. Harrison and Elder Shelton Mikell. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Waldo Waters, Johnny Waters, Franklin DeLoach, Wyman DeLoach, Everett DeLoach and H. B. Lanier.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim H. Strickland, George Strickland, John M. Strickland, Aaron Anderson, B. H. Ramsey, Delmus Rushing, J. R. Bowen, Kelly Rushing, N. J. Cox, Robert Cox, Josh Nesmith, O. E. Nesmith and J. Otis Nevils.
