Richard Leo Krebsbach was born September 19, 1935, to Aloysius and Sadie Annette Haralson Krebsbach in Adams. He grew up in Austin and graduated from Pacelli High School in 1954. Richard served in the United States Air Force from 1954 - 1957. On January 2, 1960, he was united in marriage to Beverly A. Paulson in Austin. Richard began his 48-year career in the box industry as a production employee with Weyerhaeuser Paper Company in Austin in 1957. He worked in sales and management positions for Weyerhaeuser in Cloquet, Minnesota and Mead Containers in Denver, Colorado as well as Albert Lea. In 1983, Richard co-founded Minnesota Corrugated Box Inc. in Albert Lea. He became sole owner in 1988 and was Chairman and CEO at the time of his death. Richard was a member of the Elks, Eagles, and VFW. He enjoyed hunting, especially pheasants, antique automobiles, "Vikings" football, fishing, and playing cards with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; sons, Thomas J. Krebsbach and Timothy D. Krebsbach; granddaughters, Kaitlin and Carley Krebsbach; sisters: Vivian Hall, Angie Hall, and Mary Lou Houle; brothers: Bob Krebsbach, Don Krebsbach, Carl Krebsbach, and Lawrence "Fritz" Krebsbach; and many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Wilfred, Jerry, and Jim; sister, Kathryn; and a brother, Joseph in infancy. Memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
