E. Harlan Moss passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at the age of 92. He was born to Robert C. and Kansas Alice Moss on February 9, 1910 in Granite, Oklahoma. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1921. He graduated from Classen High School in 1928 and attended Harding College, Searcy, Arkansas. He and his parents operated R.C. Moss and Son Cotton Merchants for many years. Upon retiring, he farmed cotton at Wayne, Oklahoma and was associated with Moss Implement Co, Minco, Oklahoma. He was a long time member of the 12th and Drexel Church of Christ and in recent years the Mayfair Church of Christ. He was a friend to many people throughout his life and was always willing to help those in need.

He married Rose M. McCord on December 23, 1933 and she preceded him in death, also preceded by his parents, a sister and a brother. Harlan is survived by three daughters, Diane Coleman of Oklahoma City, Marilyn and husband Don Noll of Oklahoma City, and Beverly and husband Tony Gray of Norman; six grandchildren, Christie Wood, Robert Noll, Eddie Coleman, Dennis Coleman, Jennifer Snyder and Jeffrey Waterman; eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his cousin, Alice SerVoss and three nieces. The family wishes to thank Good Shepherd Hospice for their care and devotion. Memorials may be made to the Mayfair Church of Christ Library Fund. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2002 at Mayfair Church of Christ, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Guardian West Funeral Directors.
