Ballston Spa--Alfred H. Long, highly respected citizen of Brookline (Road), died at his home early this morning. He lived in Brookline for the past 70 years and will be missed by his many friends.
He was born in Quaker Springs, Dec. 20, 1960 and was employed at the American Hide & Leather Company for 30 years.
Surviving are his two daughters Miss Marie Long, Mrs. Nathan (Ada M) Baker; a son Clarence Long; one grandson, Robert Baker, Brookline (Road).
The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at the home, the Rev. Elmer N. Haley, Methodist Church pastor, to officiate. Burial will be in Ballston Spa Cemetery.
The home will be open Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
