Ballston Spa—Emerson Earl, a well known resident of this village, dropped dead at his home on East High Street, about 7 o’clock last night [4 June], from heart disease. Mr. Earl had just remarked to his wife, while standing at the kitchen door, that he would shut up the chickes, and before he could start to do so he collapsed. Though Dr. Corinthwaite arrived there in a few minutes Mr. Earl died almost as the physician arrived at his side.
Mr. Earl was a lifelong resident of this village, being 65 years of age, and a large number of friends will deeply regret his sudden death.
Besides his wife he leaves one sister, Mrs. Olive Paddock, of this village, and several nephews and nieces.
