Mr. Scarff was one of the founders of the Scarff-O'Connor Wholesale Paper Company and for the last several years was interested in real estate and investments. He was a member of St. Matthew's Cathedal and was a charter member of the old Dallas Club. He was born in Maryland.
Surviving are his wife, two sisters, and a brother.
