Services for William Gwinn Scarff, 67, Dallas resident since 1883 and well known in real estate and investment circles, who died Sunday afternoon at his home, 2303 McKinney Avenue, will be held at the home at 4:30 p. m. Wednesday. Bishop Harry T. Moore of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Scarff was one of the founders of the Scarff-O'Connor Wholesale Paper Company and for the last several years was interested in real estate and investments. He was a member of St. Matthew's Cathedal and was a charter member of the old Dallas Club. He was born in Maryland.
Surviving are his wife, two sisters, and a brother.
