Mondell G. Edwards Gill, 85, died Jan. 12 at Candler Hospital.
She was born in Claxton and lived in Savannah for 70 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and secretary-treasurer of The Agates Ladies Class. She was a private sitter for many years. She was the widow of Thomas H. Gill.
SURVIVORS: two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry B. and Julie Edwards of Savannah, Charles C. Edwards III and Karol Edwards, both of Savannah; a daughter, Nancy E. Buie of Savannah; two brothers, Huey Glisson of Wrightsville and Joe Glisson of Dalton; four sisters, Geraldine Bacon of Savannah, Freida G. Chandler, Doris Lindberg and Nira Stevens, all of Atlanta; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
FUNERAL: 10 a.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Temple, burial in Beards Creek Cemetery.
