David R. Tuttle Sr.

David Richard Tuttle Sr., 62, of Savannah, died March 18 at home.

He was a native of Effingham County and lived most of his life in Savannah. He retired from Kemira Pigments and was a member of the Woodmen of the World. He was a veteran of the Air Force, Air National Guard and the Seabees.

SURVIVORS: two sons, David Tuttle Jr. of Savannah and Robert Scott Tuttle of Guyton; a daughter, Charlotte Shuman of Richmond Hill; five sisters, Marian Haynes of Bloomingdale, Vivian Hill of Port Wentworth, Betty Beasley of Bloomingdale, Ruth Malphus of Effingham and Mary Pittman of Bloomingdale; two brothers, Joe Lewis Tuttle of Sacramento, Calif., and Lonnie Tuttle of Jacksonville, Ark.; a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

VISITATION: 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Thursday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
