Betty Irene Tuttle Beasley
Mrs. Betty Irene Tuttle Beasley -Bloomingdale- Mrs. Betty Irene Tuttle Beasley, 78, died on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Beasley was born in Effingham County and had lived in Bloomingdale for many years. She graduated from Effingham County High School where she played on the ladies basketball team.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harley Beasley and she was a member of Turkey Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She and her husband were owners/operators of Beasley's Fish Camp and she was the secretary for Beasley's Machine Shop from 1982-1992. She was a devoted homemaker and mother.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie Holton of Bloomingdale and Pam & Randy Myers of Bloomingdale; two sons and daughters-in-law, Andy & Saundra Beasley of Bloomingdale and Ricky & Tina Beasley of Bloomingdale; grandchildren, Tony Beasley, Brandi Bouie, Matthew Holton, Dawn Lane, Jessica Myers and Phillip Beasley; great-grandchildren, A.J. Bouie, Landon Lane and Hunter Holton; siblings, Lewis Tuttle, Lonnie Tuttle, Vivian Hill, Ruth Malphus and Mary Pittman; a number of nieces and nephews and her friend & CNA, Brenda Lee of Savannah.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Westside Memorial Gardens on Adams Road in Bloomingdale.
Remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
