Thomas Edward "Ned" Pelletier/Pelchie/Pelkey the son of Edward and Mary Ann (Giberson) Pelletier of Four Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. Obituary Stated: EDWARD PELKEY Death of California, N.B., Citizen December 23-Burial in Fort Fairfield in Spring. Edward Pelkey, a respected citizen of California, N. B., who suffered a paralytic shock over a year ago and who was afterwards in poor health, died Tuesday, December 23. He was born in Four Falls,and had made his home their all of his life. Mr. Pelkey is survived by his wife and ten children, as follows: Mrs.Stephen Nichols, Mrs. James McNamee, Mrs. Robert Russell, Mrs. John Russell, all of Fort Fairfield; Mrs. George Summerson, Jr., Portland; Mrs. George Parks, at home; George Pelkey, Fort Fairfield; Walter of California Settlement, N. B.; Thomas, Aroostook Junction, N.B.; Albert, at home. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Rose Swett, Ashland, and Mrs. Isaac Grant of Aroostook Junction, and by one brother, Albert Pelkey of Los Angeles, Calif. Other sibling whose address is not at present known Ellen,Paul,Frederick, Sarah Elizabeth, and Walter of Aroostook and Four Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. Prayers were held at the home, and funeral took place at the Baptist church in California. Rev. Mr. Brown of Plaster Rock officiated. The floral offerings were many and very beautiful. The remains were placed in the vault at Riverside Cemetery. Fort Fairfield, for interment in the spring. Mr. Pelkey was a well liked man, and will be greatly missed. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in their time of sorrow.
