Judith (Edwards) Clark was born ca. 1663.

Daughter of Robert (II) and Mary (Hunt) Edwards

Married 1st., ...

Thomas Harris, b. 1667, Isle of Wight - d. 1712, Isle of Wight Co., VA. He was the son of Thomas, bef. 1632-1672 ("1st wife," Eleanor George) and his "2nd. wife," Alice (Newman) ?-1672 Harris

Their only child was Benjamin Harris, b. ? - d, bef. 1758, married unknown and father of Mary Harris, ?-?

Married 2nd., ...

Wife of James(?) Clark ~ married ca. 1714

Note:

Some family historians have expressed problems with the above account of the children of Judith and Thomas Harris as listed by the historian, John Bennett Boddie. Perhaps, further research will better sort out these relationships.)

After the death of Thomas Harris, Judith married unknown Clark. This was shown in the will of Mary Hunt Edwards Boddie, the mother of Judith. The will was dated 1727: She referred to her daughter as Judith Clark

The marriage of Judith (Edwards) Harris' "2nd marriage" to unk. (James?) Clark was proved in the will of her mother, Mary (Hunt) Boddie (m. 1st., Robert Edwards, 2nd., Owen Griffin, Sr. and 3rd., William Boddie, Jr). Her will was dated in 1727 and she referred to her daughter as Judith Clark (m. 1st., Thomas Harris, III and 2nd., unknown Clark).

This Thomas Harris IV was NOT the son of Thomas Harris (II) and Judith Edwards. They only had ONE(???), son Benjamin who died before 1758 leaving a daughter Mary as sole heir. Please research the data you are copying from other people before pasting it to these Virtual memorials. You have the wrong wife for him anyway and he was NOT the IV as his father was II.

It has been proven for two decades that Thomas and Judith that they were married AFTER Sep 1701 when Judith sold her inherited land as a single woman and that they only had one son Benjamin who died before 1758 leaving only a daughter Mary as 'sole heir' of the property of Judith Edwards Harris. This daughter Mary Harris could not have been a 'sole heir' if Thomas Harris IV was a son, then he or his children would also have been heirs (and his brother and his six children who were all still living). What is your source that this Thomas Harris IV was the son of Thomas Harris III?
