Born to Gerald and Madonna (Bailey) DeBoy in Portland on Sept. 13, 1942.
Janet married Larry L. Gibson on Oct. 9, 1999.
A 1960 graduate of Portland High School, she had worked at Portland Community Care Center East and West as a cook, and at Alphabet Corporation for 13 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; her mother, Madonna; two sons, Russell A. Haffner, Bryant, and Randy W. Haffner, Portland; one daughter, Jennifer Wendel, Portland; two stepsons, Troy A. Gibson, Kissimmee, FL and Anthony Gibson, Portland, IN, two stepdaughters, Tracy Betz, and Karla Speed, both of Portland; three brothers, Rex DeBoy, Portland, Roy DeBoy, Marion, and Gerald DeBoy Jr., Jacksonville, AL and 15 grandchildren.
Burial will follow at the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
