Keith Allen Skaggs, ii, 18, of Cardington, Ohio, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, in Morrow County (ohio) Hospitial as the result of injuries suffered in a traffic accident.
Mr. Skaggs was born Jan. 5 1979, at Marion, Ohio, a son of Keith Allen Skaggs Sr. of Greenup and Ruth E. Pfleider Bisel of New Bloomington, Ohio.
He was employed by Mansfield Plumbung, was a member of Troop 30 Boy Scouts of America, River Valley Future Farmers of America, ROTC and Eureka Interprise Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Abby Durst Skaggs; a daughter, Gayle Lynn Skaggs of Cardington; his step-mother Merrie Jane Skaggs of Greenup; a brother William Edward Skaggs of new Bloomington; two halfbrothers, James Skaggs and Chris Skaggs, both of Greenup and; Two halfsisters Keri Skaggs of Greenup and Samantha Bisel of New Bloomington; His grandparents Herschel Skaggs and Phyllis Skaggs of Greenup and Joyce Pfleider of Rockford, Ill; and his great grandmothers, Marhta Betts of Salyersville, Ida Webb of Waverly, Ohio and Charlene Pfleider of Marion Ohio.
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington by the Rev. John Jackson.
