Robert "Glen" Richeson, 95, of Ellensburg, passed away June 3, 2011 at Kittitas Valley Health and Rehabilitation. Glen was born in Ellensburg on January 18, 1916 to Robert and Matilda (Morris) Richeson. He married Annie Robertson in Ellensburg on June 16, 1939. He had been employed by Ellensburg Lumber-Boise Cascade and retired after 40 years. He was well known for driving around the valley and enjoying the beauty of the scenery. You would often find him having coffee at Sak's. Glen did volunteer work Camp illahee and the First Methodist church. He was a lifetime member of the Elk's. Glen is lovingly survived by his two daughters, Laurie Richeson and Carolyn (Ken) Sorenson all of Ellensburg. Sisters-in-law: Mary Bliss of Ellensburg and Shirley Richeson of Phoenix, Oregon. Grandchildren: Greg, Trena, and Jeff (Rita), Shawnda, Mike (Stephanie) and Rick. Great Grandchildren: Ryan (Sarah), Jake (Amanda) Britteny, Brenna, Heather, Miranda, Joseph, Katie Carolyn. One great-great granddaughter; Natalie. He was preceded in death by his wife Annie on Aug. 17, 1988, a son Jim Richeson. Sisters; Merle Ringer and Hazel Vietzke, a brother Jim Richeson.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday June 8, 2011, 10:30 a.m., IOOF Cemetery. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Field and Stream or Hospice.
