Clara Mildred Pride, 77, of 7350 Church Hill Road, died at 11:11 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, following a short illness.
Her husband, Walter Pride, died in 1969.
She was born March 14, 1906, in Redfield, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Shipley.
Surviving are two sons, Harry of Livermore, Calif. and Richard of Duncan Falls; seven daughters, Mrs. Leslie (Luella) Clapper of 7200 Church Hill Road, Mrs. John (Mary) Class of Buckeye Lake, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) Archer of Beckley, W.Va., Mrs. Rita Smith of Gaysport, Mrs. Raymond (Judy) Hanning of Adams Circle, Mrs. Charles (Clara) Marple of Grant Cliff Road and Mrs. Timothy (Rhonda) Hanning of Zanesville; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Yarnelli and Mrs. Norma Lewis, both of Newark; 50 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Delong and Baker Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Terry Roland officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Clara Marple was not her daughter, she was her granddaughter. She was raised by her. Harry Pride was Clara Marple's dad.
