Funeral for Bettie Sue Laramore, 78, of Wizard Wells was Feb. 15 at Hawkins
Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. The Rev. Loury Drew Nero officiated. Burial
followed at Paradise Cemetery.

Laramore died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005, in Bridgeport.

The daughter of Carl and Myrtle (Smith) Langley, she was born June 10, 1926, in
Rock Hill, S.C. She was a cook for Knotts Berry Farm in California for 11 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wizard Wells and taught Sunday
school there in her earlier years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis C. Brown and Cliff Laramore; a
son, Clifford Hugh Laramore; a granddaughter, Connie Gene Smith-Walker; a
brother and three sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Connie Milton and husband, Whacker, of Wizard
Wells; two grandchildren, Suzie Carter and husband, Gary, of Weatherford, and
Curtis E. Smith of Decatur; five great-grandchildren Joshua, Jessica, Ashlee,
Emily and Garret; a great-great-grandson, William Tate Haught; and a brother,
Bobby Langley.


Pallbearers were Mark Avis, Curtis Smith, Joshua Carter, Gary Carter, Tony
Chesnut and Doug Depew.
