Miss Leda Hammer aged 65 years died several days ago, at her home in Philadelphia, Pa. She had been in failing health for some time. She was the daughter of the late John Hammer and Annie Manuel Hammer, natives of Harpers Ferry. Her only sister, Miss Nettie Hammer, died about a year ago. After the death of their father when the two girls were small, they lived at the home of their cousins Mr. and Mrs. John Keller and family in Bolivar, for a number of years.
