Funeral services for Louis Ben Schladetzky, 72, were held April 9 at Zion American Lutheran church. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery in Monticello.
Mr. Schladetzky died April 7 at his home in Wyoming. He was born June 17, 1897 in Wyoming Township, the son of John and Mary Ahrendsen Schladetzky.
He was married Nov 15, 193 to Celina Mardorf. They farmed near Hale until retiring in 1968 when they moved to Wyoming.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Roger of Bellevue; two grandchildren; one brother, John of Anamosa; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Petersen and Mrs. Willard Larkey, both of Wyoming.
Infant twin daughters, two brothers, one sister and his parents preceded him in death.
