Jockey. James "Jimmy" Stout was the winning jockey in the 1939 Kentucky Derby riding Johnstown. He won numerous other races including the Belmont Stakes in 1936, 1938, and 1939. He was inducted into the United States' Racing Hall of Fame in 1968.
