Rev. David Hamrick
The Rev. David A. Hamrick, 52, of Rock Cave, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at his home in Rock Cave.
The Rev. Hamrick was born Oct. 1, 1950, in Fairmont, a son of George Hamrick Sr., who survives in Shinnston, and the late Helen Ann Felosa Hamrick Sr.
On Dec. 9, 1969, he married Charlene Perry Hamrick, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jerame A. Hamrick, Shinnston; two daughters, Jackie Butcher and husband, Shinnston, and Jennifer Barker and husband, Daniel, Burnsville; two brothers, the Rev. George Hamrick Jr., Grafton, and Mark Hamrick, Shinnston; two grandsons, Austin Butcher, Shinnston, and Dustin Barker, Burnsville; and two granddaughters, Alivia Butcher, Shinnston, and Amber Barker, Burnsville.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Joseph Hamrick; and a sister, Susie Ann Hamrick.
The Rev. Hamrick was a pastor for Wilsontown Charge and was pastor for Wilsontown United Methodist Church.
He was a member of Chaplain Banks District Fire Department.

Rev. David A. Hamrick - Funeral Arrangements Friends will be received at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home today from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Tuesday, the Rev. Hamrick will be moved to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church where friends will be received from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Clifford Schell officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Shinnston.
