Christian married 30 May 1800 Mary Wolf, born 15 Sep 1778 died 15 Feb 1842. She was d/o Valentine & Moly Ann Wolf. They were buried near their home in Creager Farm Cemetery (700 feet south of East David Road, 1300 feet east of Far Hills Avenue) From History of Montg Co/Van Buren Twp, "Christian Creager was the first Elder at Davids Church. He gave the land for the new church and the logs to build it with. He was a carpenter by trade" Their markers are among the twenty-three moved from the Creager farm cemetery to Davids Cemetery. ROW 1 Old Section 1

The following information was provided by Alice Marie Beard: Christian was the son of Adam CREAGER and Christina HOFFART. The date of birth for Christian Creager should be September 26, 1774, in Woodsboro, Frederick Co., Maryland. He was christened October 28, 1774, at Rocky Hill Lutheran Church, in Woodsboro, Frederick Co., Maryland. She adds that Christina (Hoffart) Creager (Mrs Adam) is a daughter of Christian Hufford (1716-1778), whose findagrave.com memorial is #34258214. There is massive HUFFORD info at
