R. Carey "R.C." Wilson, 86, died July 2 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Athens and had been a resident of Savannah since 1945. He retired from Union Camp Corporation in 1973. He was a Mason and the widower of Obie W. Wilson.
SURVIVORS: two sons, Darryl Wilson of Macon and Douglas Wilson of Martinez; a brother, Walter Wilson of Alexandria, Va.; three sisters, Marinza Sellers of Winston Salem, N.C., and Margaret Addington of Athens; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday at Bernstein's Funeral Home, Athens.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bernstein's Funeral Home, burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, in charge of local arrangements.
