Margaret Marie Wilson Addington, 91, of Athens, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Born in Crawford, GA on June 7, 1924, Mrs. Addington was a daughter of the late George T. Wilson Sr. & Marinza Little Wilson. She retired from the University of Georgia Athletic Department, was a former member of the Happy Squares Square Dancing Club & was a longtime member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Mrs. Addington was the widow of Ernest B. Addington, who passed away in 1975.

Survivors include children, Michael Addington Sr. and wife, Judy, of Lyman, SC, Renee' Friar & husband, Tim, of Tampa, FL and Dusty Addington of Athens, GA; sister, Wynelle McLeroy of Canton, GA; brother, Walter Wilson of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Blaise Potts of Tampa, FL, Stacy Addington of Panama City, FL, Nicole Addington of Atlanta, GA, Brandy Feigel of Lyman, SC, Joshua Addington & Jacob Addington, both of Greer, SC & Mike Addington Jr. and Dustin Israel Addington, both of Athens, GA; 18 great-grandchildren & one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. The family thanks her personal caregiver, Kandi Feigel of Lyman, for her daily love and attention to our mother. Bernstein Funeral Home & Cremation Service has charge of arrangements.
