Mr. Ossman was born in Leadville, June 14, 1914. He was the son of Michael J. Ossman and Mary Ellen Hayden Ossman. He attended Leadville schools.
He served with the U.S. Armed Forces from November 13, 1941 to November 19, 1945.
Mr. Ossman died July 6 at the Veterans Hospital, Denver, after an illness of several years.
He is survived by two brothers, Emmett and James Ossman of Leadville and two sisters, Margaret Eberle and Mary Martin of Leadville. Three nephews, John Saucke, Robert Ossman and Joseph Sheffield, also survives, as do six nieces, Linda Martin, Carolyn Byrne, Cora Lou Byrne and Barbara Boggs of Leadville, Iris Nelson of Tucson, Arizona and Mary Ruth Dunbar of Oran, New York.
