Former Yakima resident Grace Eunice Boyd, 88, died Monday at the Good Samaritan Center in Hermiston, Ore.
Mrs. Boyd was born and raised in Arkansas and moved to the Yakima Valley in the late 1930s. She moved to Pendleton, Ore., in 1984 and to Hermiston in 1995.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Smith of Jerome, Idaho; daughters Joyce Kennedy of Umatilla, Ore., Winnie Lester of Ventura, Calif., and Aileen Baney of Salem, Ore.; a sister, Cleda Baker of Elkins, Ark.; 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at West Hills Memorial Park in Yakima. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston, Ore., is in charge of arrangements.
