Olen Elvis Boyd, 80, of Yakima, Wash., died Saturday, July 14, 1984 at his home.

He was born on Mar. 27, 1904, in Madison County to Virgil and Emma Neal Boyd. On Mar. 27, 1937, he married Grace Howard in Huntsville. They lived in Portland for a short time before moving to Yakima in 1937. Mr. Boyd was a retired rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Boyd of Yakima; a son, Clifford Smith of Yakima; three daughters, Mrs. Winifred Lester of Ventura, Calif., Mrs. Aileen Baney of Salem, Ore. and Mrs. Joyce Kennedy of Pendleton, Ore.; two brothers, Vernon Boyd and Walter Dunlap both of Ark.; five sisters, Reba Dunn and Loretta Moore, both of Calif., Gladys Boatright and Marie Wiseman, both of Ark. and Edna Teel of Granger; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services were Tuesday, July 17, in West Hills Memorial Park under direction of Langevin-Mussettler Funeral Home.
