HOWLAND – Patricia A. Southard, 66, died June 2, 2011, at Penobscot Valley Hospital, Lincoln, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born Jan. 14, 1945, in Lincoln, daughter of Alton and Beatrice Hurd of Burlington.
Pat really enjoyed cooking and everything Paula Dean.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Dixon and her husband, Calvin, of Burlington; three children: son, Robert "Troy" Southard and his longtime companion, Connie Trueworthy, both of Garland, her daughter, Debra J. Doore and her husband, Michael, who was a special son-in-law to Pat, also of Garland, and a son, Dale W. Southard to whom Pat devoted her life, also of Howland; six grandchildren, two nieces and their children, of which she cherished them all. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Southard; and daughter, Lisa D. Curtis and her companion of 28 years, Roger Carey, all of Howland.
