William George Roth, born December 22, 1911 in Berlin, Canada, died October 14, 1993. Moving to Yukon in 1959, he worked as a tool and die maker for Western Electric, retiring in 1975. Bill continued to work in his home until 1991 as a precision tool grinder. Mr. Roth was a member of St. Johns Parish in Yukon, Oklahoma. He participated as a very active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a 3rd Degree member of Council 6478, Yukon, and a 4th Degree member of Father Stanley Rother Assembly. In recent years, he participated in the Pioneers and other AT&T organizations.

Surviving family members are his wife, Eva; his son, Kent of Palm Desert, California, and daughters, Mary Ann Green of Yukon and Deborah Krisch of Indianapolis, Indiana; a sister, Gladys Dilleneuve of Quebec, Canada; and 9 grandchildren, William David, Carrie Ann, and Audra Louise Green, Michael Anthony, Jennifer Elaine, Kathleen Marie and Kelley Annette Krisch, Christopher William and Joshua Kent Roth. The family requests that donations be made to the St. John Endowment Fund, Yukon, Oklahoma. Vigil service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, October 17, at the Yanda and Son Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday, October 18, at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church, Yukon. Interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
